From heat pump heating to generous storage, Explorer 2 brings the family’s hot water preparation into one unit. Heat is drawn from the air through a heating cycle powered by electricity.

Peace of mind,
starts inside the tank.

Lasting comfort depends on internal protection that works every day. ACI Hybrid combines magnesium, a titanium anode and a controlled impressed current to complement the enamel tank’s corrosion protection.

Magnesium · Establishing protection: Magnesium on the anode helps form corrosion protection on the inner surface of the tank.
Titanium and current · Ongoing protection: The titanium-core anode and an electronically controlled low current help maintain corrosion protection inside the tank.
Enamel · Working together: The vitreous enamel coating and anode protection each play their part in protecting the storage tank.

ACI Hybrid protects the tank against corrosion. It does not soften water or remove limescale; inspection and maintenance must still follow the manufacturer’s instructions.

with the right installation location.

A utility room, laundry area or service balcony needs more than enough space for a tank. The heat pump requires a suitable air source, while sound, drainage and service access must be considered in the layout.

Ambient air / ducted air: The manufacturer specifies an operating range of 5–43°C with ambient air and −5–43°C with ducted air. The configuration must suit the installation space.
Acoustics and location: The manufacturer states a sound power level of 47 dB(A). Perceived sound depends on the room, distance and installation conditions; consider the location during planning.
